How to Cook Butchi with Nutella


  • ¾ cup water
  • ¾ cup brown sugar
  • 3 cups Glutinous rice flour
  • 1 Nutella
  • ½ cup sesame seeds
  • 1tbsp. Vanilla
  • Cooking oil


  1. Dissolved the ¾ cup brown sugar in boiled water.
  2. Mix well and allow cooling slightly.
  3. Transfer the flour into the bowl and put pour half of the sugar water. Stir to moisten flour.
  4. Pour the remaining sugar water.
  5. Stir until form into a dough.
  6. Roll into balls.
  7. Flatten into a round shape of about ¼ inch thick and 4 inches wide.
  8. Place ½ to 1 tbsp.  nutella.
  9. Gather the edges of dough around the filling.
  10. Coat balls with sesame seeds.
  11. Put cooking oil into pot then heat.
  12. Deep fry until golden brown and floats to the top.
  13. Drain excess oil.
  14. Serve and enjoy!
