Pininyahang Manok Recipe

Now this recipe is definitely a much-needed addition to your repertoire, whether you’re a seasoned cook or someone learning how to prep for the first time. Pininyahang manok is a way of putting a tropical twist into a creamy chicken dish that’s strikingly similar to the tasty chicken ala king, and it’s a dream to prepare because it’s so easy to make and only needs a few ingredients to make that sour-sweet, smooth sauce that’s perfect to spoon over your rice.

The pineapple chunks create a contrast of textures between the silky cream and chicken that’s utterly tender to the bite. You can add other sliced vegetables as well into this dish to encourage your family and friends to eat more healthily—who could resist a creamy sauce over bell peppers or carrots, for instance? With this pineapple-flavored dish, you may find yourself reaching for second helpings!

Ingredients:

  • 1 k. chicken, cut into serving portions
  • 1 head garlic, minced
  • 1 small onion, sliced
